Move over caffeine there's a new fix coming to town! Ok, so I won't dress this up and convince you this is the tastiest mineral mix ever but, my brain loves this food!...
After cleansing and waking up my digestive system with warm or tepid water with lime (before any food) I also blend my morning mineral mix consisting of Sea Moss, Bladderwrack and Cinnamon followed by a tall glass of room temp water (you may have heard me talk about my shungite water) basically alkaline water is best carrying at least a PH leve of 7 (6 is slightly acidic below 6 is acidic). Our bodies love an alkaline balance.
Here are the quantities I blend together each morning to boost my brain function and focus:
1 Tablespoon of Sea Moss (Soaked in Lime overnight and rinsed through the next day).
2 Teaspoons of Bladderwrack.
1/4 Teaspoon of cinnamon.
1 small glass of water.
1 Tall glass of water (to wash it all down).
Well firstly the cinnamon makes for a more pleasant journey to my stomach, taking away some of the smell and sharpness of the smell and taste of the sea, however this powerful herb can lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease risk factors, and has a plethora of other impressive health benefits.
Sea moss is a source of potassium chloride which helps dissolve catarrh, which effectively is inflammation and phlegm i n the mucus membranes causing congestion. It also contains compounds It also contains compounds which act as anti microbiological and antiviral agents, helping to get rid of any infection.
