I recently underwent a strict herbal detox plan. The herbs addressed the cleansing of the blood, colon and internal intestine to remove parasites from my body.
Below is my delicious phytonutrient nourishing soup consisting of essential minerals to help sustain the body whilst coinciding with the detox. This aids in the absorption of all the essential vitamins and minerals contained in this sanctifying spicy soup which can be eaten hot or cold.
200g Cucumber (with skin) 1/4 Piece of small red onion Half of 1 pak choi A handful of chard A handful of fresh coriander leaves 200g Wild mushrooms A small knob of ginger 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt A pinch of cayenne pepper 1 Tablespoon of sea moss 1 cup of water
Blend together pak choi, chard, cucumber, coriander, mushrooms, salt, cayenne pepper, red onion and ginger .
Heat a pan and add 1/4 teaspoon of chopped scotch bonnet (also known as Caribbean hot peppers)., with or without seeds depending on the level of desired spiciness.
Add to the pan the blended ingredients and simmer for 2-3 minutes, adding water gradually if necessary to achieve desired consistency.
Transfer to a soup bowl and serve.
Note: For mildly flavoured soup exclude hot pepper and ginger.
