I was in a wholefood store and enquired with the shop assistant about an ancient grain called 'Freekeh'. She was not able to tell me anything about it, so I turned to a Slovakian lady stood next to me and asked if she had tried it and what she knew of it.
She confirmed it was in fact an African grain and had tried it with a mixture of other grains a vegan friend cooked for her. She said that the meal was meat free and that it was so good that if meat free could taste that good she would stop eating meat...
She claimed I inspired her to buy the grain and try it out and promised to share a pic and let me know how she prepared it.
